Queen bee of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone is a global star thanks to her work. So it comes as no surprise that a wax statue of the actress will now be part of Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, London.
The actress herself made the announcement on Monday on her Facebook page.

"I felt very excited because the only time I visited the Madame Tussauds was in London when I was very little, with my parents. That memory has sort of stayed with me obviously, and then to receive a letter to be a part of that and to actually experience what goes into making these wax figures. I think Madame Tussauds is iconic in so many ways, you know it actually feels great to be a part of that,” the actress said as she went live on Facebook.



The actress is currently in London and revealed that the wax statue will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds London as well as Delhi early next year.The team of Madame Tussauds` expert artists met the actress in London and took over 200 specific measurements and photographs to create an authentic look.

Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Kareena Kapoor already have their wax statues at the London museum.
