Cardi B and Offset throw son an aeroplane-themed birthday amid divorce

Even though they’re divorced and Cardi B is expecting yet another child with rapper Offset, the duo were seen reuniting for their son Wave’s 3rd birthday celebrations. The parents threw him an aeroplane-themed party as Cardi B looked pregnant with a big belly in rare pictures and videos that have surfaced on the internet.

The "Bodak Yellow" rapper showed off her son’s five-tier cake which was covered with aeroplanes, suitcases, a compass and some paper aeroplanes. Wave looked big as he wore a white shirt, jeans and boots. He also wore a customised iced-out chain.

The party venue was decorated with white and light blue balloons and featured aeroplanes on the wall that had Wave’s name on them. There was food from chef Franklin Rosario, which included fresh salad, Brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, baked mac and cheese, Italian meatballs, lobster mac and cheese, fried chicken wings, BBQ ribs, salmon and lamb chops.

In one video, Wave danced with his parents.

Cardi B and Offset looked happy for their kid. Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset last month. They had tied the knot in 2017 but split as there were infidelity rumours. They remained married for four years but had eventually “grown apart” A source told Page Six, “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.”

Cardi B is currently pregnant with third child with Offset

The day after her divorce filing, Cardi B announced she was pregnant with her and Offset’s third child. The couple share daughters Kulture, 6, and Wave.

Cardi B is seeking primary custody of their kids but she is not asking Offset for child support. On the matter, she said, “My claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one.”
