BTS’s RM And V celebrate Korean author Han Kang's Nobel Prize win

South Korean author Han Kang has been awarded The Nobel Prize in Literature 2024. Celebrating the honour and Kang's achievement, BTS' RM and V have expressed their happiness.
Both RM and V, who are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service, are big fans of Kang's work. Soon after the announcement, both pop stars reacted to her Nobel win.
Taking to their respective Instagram handles, both BTS members celebrated the monumental feat.
V shared a monochrome photo of Kang on his Instagram stories and wrote a captionthatproved that he's a true follower of the writer's work.
He wrote, ''Author! I read The Boy Is Coming during my military service. Congratulations!''
RM, too, shared the same photo with a crying and a heart emoji.

RM and V's quick reaction proved thepassion and love they had for literature.
The Swedish Academy declared Han, the winner on Thursday. She will be honoured on December 10 with a prize carrying a cash award of 11 million Swedish kronor ($1.1 million). This is the second Nobel Prize for South Korea.
"In her oeuvre, Han Kang confronts historical traumas and invisible sets of rules and, in each of her works, exposes the fragility of human life," Anders Olsson, chairman of the Nobel Committee said after the winner announcement.
"She has a unique awareness of the connections between body and soul, the living and the dead, and in her poetic and experimental style has become an innovator in contemporary prose," Olsson added.
