Why should J-Hope and Suga have all the fun, asks Jung Kook or so it seems as the BTS member is ready to drop a new solo film, a first for him. Jung Kook is the youngest of all members of the Korean pop group BTS. After J-Hope and Suga released their own solo documentaries, which chronicled their artistic journey, Jung Kook wants his fans to know his story too.
Teasing a snippet from the project on July 11, Jung Kook’s official social media pages posted a cryptic message. The teaser image was titled Jung Kook: I Am Still. The post came with the message: “Coming Soon to Cinemas!"
Apart from this, Jung Kook and team did not mention any other details. The post left the fans confused and ecstatic at the same time as they didn’t know what to expect – a film, a documentary, a concert film, or something else entirely.
Some fans exclaimed, “Wait What," “OMG What,” and “Explain Yourself” with these phrases trending on X and other platforms.
Amid all the chaos on social media, South Korean multiplex cinema chain CJ CGV also took to its social media profiles and shared the same dark-themed and grainy image teaser, flashing the text “Jung Kook, I AM STILL.”
Jung Kook dropped his solo debut album, “GOLDEN”. While promoting the same, he appeared on bandmate Suga’s variety show, Suchwita in which he announced that he was working on a documentary that follows the musical process from his pre-release single “Seven” to making his full-length album.
Previously, Jung Kook has self-directed and produced travel video series called “Golden Closet Films” (GCF). He recently also joined bandmate Jimin on a joint travel show gig for Disney + which will release on August 8, 2024. It’s called Are You Sure?
