Bruce Springsteen postpones two more shows due to health issues

Fans of Bruce Springsteen will have to wait a bit longer to hear him live as the singer and the E Street Band rescheduled two more shows because of his health issues. As Bruce continues to suffer from “vocal issues”, he has been advised to reschedule the shows under “doctor’s direction”.
Taking to social media, the band stated, “Following yesterday’s postponement in Marseille due to vocal issues, further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days.”
The statement further reads: “With this in mind, additional postponements are required for Airport Letnany in Prague (originally scheduled for May 28) and San Siro Stadium in Milan (originally scheduled for June 1 and 3). New dates for these shows will be announced shortly. Those wishing a refund will be able to obtain it at their original point of purchase. Bruce is recuperating comfortably, and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan.”

It was last September when Bruce Springsteen postponed multiple dates on the group’s North American tour due to a peptic ulcer. He did perform earlier this year and managed to keep time with his fans, but he continues to struggle with voice problems.
Bruce recently revealed during his appearance at the Ivor Awards in London last week, that while health is a dominant issue, the “hellacious weather” in the Northern British city of Sunderland is making it difficult for him to perform.
