Bomb scare at Rajinikanth's Chennai residence, police conduct search

Rajinikanth received a bomb threat at his Chennai residence on Thursday.

Reportedly, a pankster called 108 ambulance control center in the morning claiming that there was a bomb planted at the actor’s residence. Following the news, police rushed to his residence to conduct a thorough search.

As the coronavirus scare has been rampant across the world, Thalaiva’s family members did not allow the police inside at first. The police waited for a few minutes and returned after thoroughly surveying the security guard’s cabin and area outside the actor’s home. 

After a thorough search, it was announced that the call was a hoax. 

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth will be next seen in Siva’s ‘Annaatthe’ which also stars Nayanthara along with Keerthy Suresh, Khushboo and Meena. Directed by Siva, Annaatthe is Rajinikanth's 168th movie and will release on Pongal 2021. He was last seen in AR Murugadoss-directed ‘Darbar’.
