Swara Bhaskar has a savage reply to trolls targetting her 'conservative' clothes post marriage

Swara Bhaskar gave it back to trolls when she found her weight and choice of clothes being discussed on various social media platforms. From X to Instagram and other platforms, Swara’s pictures of before and after marriage have been circulating on the internet.

Swara recently called out trolls for her personal choices

Swara shared a meme of herself that depicted a picture of her before and after her marriage to Fahad. In the picture, Swara is seen dressed in a simple salwar-kurta with her head covered with a dupatta. This was juxtaposed with a picture of Swara wearing a western outfit, one from her acting days. The picture implied how she had changed after marrying a Muslim guy, becoming conservative with her personal choices.

Swara shared the picture alongside other pictures of herself – two with Fahad – post marriage. In these pictures, the actor wore western outfits like dresses and an off-shoulder gown. The actor wrote alongside, “I didn’t realise my wardrobe choices post marriage are a national cyber debate (bizarre!).. Here are more pics of me post marriage to give Sanghi vermin more fodder for their dung.”

The actor also mocked the trolls for dragging her husband and his religion into it, adding, "Im sorry @FahadZirarAhmad doesn’t fit your stereotype of a conservative Muslim husband. Lol!"

Swara Bhaskar married Fahad Ahmad, a student activist and politician, in February 2023. They became parents to a baby girl named Rabiya in September that year.

Fahad was a member of the Samajwadi Party before he moved to Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar faction). He contested the Maharashtra Assembly elections 2024 from Anushakti Nagar constituency in Mumbai south-central.

As for films, Swara was last seen in Jahaan Chaar Yaar and Mimansa. She will be next seen in Mrs Falani. The film doesn’t have a release date yet.
