Sonakshi Sinha reacts to news of her wedding with Zaheer Iqbal: Nobody's business

Sonakshi Sinha: The tinsel town is buzzing with the news ofSonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal wedding. The couple have not announced their wedding so far but Sonakshi has reacted to speculations around it.

Speaking to iDiva, Sonakshi has reportedly reacted to the news of her wedding and said, "Firstly, it’s nobody’s business. Secondly, it is my choice, so I don’t know why people are so concerned about it. People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, so I find that very funny. Now, I am just used to it. It doesn’t bother me. People are curious; what can we do about it?”

Registered marriage on June 23?

Sonakshi may have evaded directly answering the question but sources close to the couple have stated that the wedding will take place on June 23. The couple have reportedly opted for a registered marriage and will host a party later in the day.

While speaking to Zoom, one of Sonakshi’s friends said, "I have received an invitation to celebrate with the couple on the evening of June 23. But there’s no mention of an actual wedding. From what I know, they have already gone through a registered marriage, or may do so on the morning of June 23. But there’s not going to be any elaborative wedding as such, just a party."

Sonakshi's family reacts

Prior to Sonakshi’s statement, her brother Luv addressed the rumours as well, opting not to comment directly and urged the media to reach out to Sonakshi or the other party involved for clarification.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi's father, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha told the media that he has not been informed about the wedding.

While speaking to Zoom earlier, Sinha said, "I am in Delhi right now. After the election results, I flew down here. I haven't spoken to anyone about my daughter's plans. So your question is, is she getting married? The answer is that she hasn't told me anything about it."

The couple reportedly have been dating for a while but have never confirmed their relationship. The two featured together in Double XL which also co-starred Huma Qureshi. The couple have often made public appearances together and their their Instagram feed is filled with photos of each other.
