The Mumbai Police recorded Salman Khan's statement in the firing incident outside his residence in April. Salman and his brother, Arbaaz Khan recorded statements on Wednesday.
As per a report in PTI, a four-member crime branch team visited their home in Galaxy Apartments, Bandra, Mumbai and recorded Salman’s statement for over four hours. Arbaaz’s statement was recorded for over two hours.
The two were reportedly asked around 150 questions by the cops. An official told PTI that Salman acknowledged that there is an actual threat to his life. In his statement, Salman told the police that he was home on the day of the firing incident, April 14. He said that he returned late the previous night and was sleeping when the incident took place. He was woken up by the firing.

Meanwhile, Arbaaz stated that he was at his Juhu residence when the incident took place. His statement was recorded as he was aware of the threats that have been issued against his brother.

Arbaaz said that this was the third incident as someone had previously left a threatening note outside their house and had done a recce at their farmhouse in Panvel. He was quoted by the publication as saying, “Earlier, someone left a threatening note which was found outside their house and Bishnoi gang members conducted recce at their Panvel farmhouse. This (firing) is the third incident, and the police should take it seriously."
