Juhi Chawla's recent post on Instagram is bound to take fans down memory lane. The actress recently reunited with Aamir Khan, her co-star in several blockbuster films, for a special occasion. The pair, who had created magic with their teenage love story back in the 1980s in Mansoor Ali Khan's Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, reunited to celebrate Aamir's mother's birthday on Thursday.
Aamir hosts grand party for mother's 90th birthday
Aamir Khan hosted a grand party for his mother Zeenat Hussain on her 90th birthday. His Ishq co-star and actor Juhi Chawlawas among the guests to attend the celebration.
According to sources, over 200 family members and friends flewin from various cities for this special day. The grand celebration took place on June 13 at his residence in Mumbai followed by a special party at a suburban hotel. The event was strictly a private affair.
Aamir and Juhi reunite
Taking to her Instagram stories, Juhi shared a picture from the celebration featuring herself, Aamir and his sister Farhat Datta. Dressed in a white colour ethnic wear, Juhi looked stunning. Aamir Khan, on the other hand, wore an off-white sherwani for the occasion.
Sharing the photo, she wrote, “So happy to meet all the family at Ammis special birthday!”
Juhi and Aamir have worked in iconic films, including Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Ishq, Andaz Apna Apna, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Keamong others.
What's next for Aamir?
As a producer, Aamir's next film is Lahore 1947, which stars Sunny Deol in the lead role. It is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol and Ali Fazal are also part of the film. This is the first timeAamir and Sunny will be collaborating on a project.
Aamir also produced ex-wife Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies earlier this year which won critical praise. Aamir will act in Sitaare Zameen Par which also features Genelia Deshmukh.
