Chandu Champion's first song out, showcases Kartik Aaryan's journey to fitness

Fans of Kartik Aaryan can rave about the actor's remarkable physical transformation in the new song Tu Hai Champion, from his upcoming film Chandu Champion.

The actor plays former Indian paralympic gold-medalist Murlikant Petkar in Chandu Champion and underwent drastic physical transformation to play the part.

Makers released the first song from Chandu Champion on Thursday. The music video begins with Kartik's coach played by Vijay Raaz telling him that a real champion defeats his inner demons rather than the opponents. He then asks Chandu, aka Murlikant, whether he wants to be a champion, and the latter replies, “Yes,” as the mentor pats his student.

The video then showcases Murlikant's rigorous training to participate in the boxing match. Kartik goes through all the drills in order to become a true champion.

Arijit Singh and Amit Mishra have sung thesong, which has been penned by IP Singh and composed by Pritam.

Kartik essays the titular role in Chandu Champion which has been directed by Kabir Khan. Apart from Kartik, the movie also features Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Aniruddh Dave, Palak Lalwani in pivotal characters. The biographical sports drama has been shot in London, Wai and Jammu and Kashmir. It is co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan. Chandu Champion is scheduled to release on June 14.
