Bollywood dancer Abhijeet Shinde was found dead at his residence in Bhandup Mumbai on Thursday morning. The dancer was found hanging from the ceiling fan. Initial investigations indicate that Shinde committed suicide. News reports state that a suicide note has also been found. 

Shinde had worked with the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan and others. The dancer was reportedly suffering from depression for the past few months after his wife left with their daughter and moved to her mother's house. The wife was not letting Shinde meet his daughter. 

In the suicide note that has been found at his residence, Shinde has mentioned that he would want to transfer his bank account to his daughter's name. 

Police is currently investigating the case. 

While speaking to a daily, the police said, " Shinde’s wife had been living at her mother’s place since the past three months. She was not allowing Shinde to meet their two-year-old daughter, which upset him badly. He had been depressed over the past few days. We registered an accidental death report and handed over the body to the deceased’s family members after conducting a postmortem.”

Abhijeet's neighbours had alerted the police when they found him hanging at his residence. The main door was open when the neighbours got in and found Abhijeet hanging. They rushed him to the hospital where he was declared dead.
