'Baazigar' actor Dalip Tahil arrested for drunk driving, hit and run in Mumbai

Veteran actor Dalip Tahil who has appeared in a number of films like ‘Ram Lakhan’, ‘Baazigar’, ‘Ishq’, ‘Soldier’ and ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ among others has been booked for drunk driving and hit and run case by the Mumbai police.
Dalip was arrested after his car reportedly rammed into an autorickshaw injuring passengers. The Mumbai police said that when the incident took place, Dalip was drunk and behind the wheel. He tried to flee from the scene the moment he knew what had happened but was caught as he got stuck in a jam on roads because of Ganesh Visarjan.
According to reports, the said passengers reportedly caught up with Dalip’s car and even tried to confront him but he pushed them. They are identified as Jenita Gandhi (21) and Gaurav Chugh (22).

The actor reportedly refused to give his blood sample. He has now been released on bail.
