
Filmmaker Sriram Raghavan's film 'Andhadhun' is having a fantastic run in China. The film has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the China box office and has now become the third highest grossing Indian film in China.
Featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte, the film's collection is just behind the collection of two of Aamir Khan's film. 'Dangal' remains the highest grossing Indian film in China and 'Secret Superstar' is the second highest grosser in the country.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the numbers of the film on Twitter. " “#AndhaDhun crosses ₹ 300 cr in #China… Eyes $ 50 million mark… Emerges the third highest grossing *Indian film* in #China… [Week 3] Fri $ 1.61 mn, Sat $ 3.45 mn, Sun $ 2.93 mn. Total: $ 43.45 million [₹ 303.36 cr].”
A dark comedy, the film has been a favourite this award season fetching the lead actor numerous awards. The film opened to rave reviews in October 2018 when it released in India and was loved by the audience as well.
