Ashley Tisdale welcomes baby girl with husband Christopher French; shares adorable picture

It's the beginning of a new chapter for High School Musical alum Ashley Tisdale! The 39-year-old actress joyfully announced on Instagram that she and her husband Christopher French have welcomed their second child together. They are now proud parents of a beautiful baby girl named Emerson Clover French.

In a heartwarming post shared on Saturday, Tisdale revealed that Emerson was born the previous day (Sep6). Along with the announcement, Tisdale posted a close-up, black-and-white photo featuring herself, French, and their 3-year-old daughter, Jupiter, tenderly holding Emerson’s tiny hand.

"Emerson Clover French, all three of us are obsessed with you," Tisdale captioned the post. "She landed 9.6.24."

Tisdale and French first announced the pregnancy in March of this year. In her initial announcement on Instagram, Tisdale posted a series of photos showing off her baby bump, with French and their daughter Jupiter joining in on the excitement. "We can’t wait to meet you," she wrote at the time, while French chimed in the comments, "Here we goooo! I love you. We can do this lol.”

Tisdale and French, who have been married since 2014, welcomed their first child, Jupiter, in March 2021.

In a TikTok video posted in March, Tisdale spoke about her experience with postpartum depression after Jupiter’s birth. She revealed that she was anxious about potentially facing those struggles again with her second child. "I suffered with postpartum depression the first time and so that definitely scared me," Tisdale said.

However, she added that her doctor reassured her that the hormonal adjustments tend to be quicker the second time around. "It wasn’t so much that I was depressed, I just had a lot of anxiety," she added.

Despite her concerns, the actress was also filled with excitement for what was to come, noting that her daughter Jupiter couldn’t wait to be a big sister. "She keeps telling everybody the big news," Tisdale shared with a smile.
