Alia Bhatt and Sharvari are currently doing all the hard work possible for their action thriller Alpha. On Friday (Oct 4), the Yash Raj Films (YRF) announced when the movie will be released in the theatres.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, YRF's first female-led film will hit the theatres next year on Christmas.
Makers made the big announcement by sharing a new poster of the movie featuring the date in the film. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film will release on December 25.
“On Christmas 2025, #ALPHA will rise! Get ready for an action-packed holiday… 25th Dec, 2025,” Yash Raj Films wrote. Both theactors have shared the announcement on their Instagram stories.

The movie will feature Alia and Sharvari as spy agents and will be a new entry in the studio's spy verse, which has Salman Khan's Tiger franchise, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan's War.
Many details about the movie like plot and caste details have not been released. However, if reports are to be believed, the film will star Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor.
In July, the title of the movie was announced with a short teaser. In the clip, Alia explains the title's meaning. In Hindi, she says, "Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar, aur hamari program ka motto. Sabse pehle, sabse tez. Sabse veer. Dhyan se dekho toh har sahar mein ek jungle hein. Aur jungle mein humesha raaj karega… Alpha," which translates to, "The first letter of the Greek alphabet, and the motto of our program. First, fastest and most courageous. If you look carefully, there is a jungle in every city. And the one who will reign in the jungle is Alpha."
On the work front, Alia is gearing up for the release of her movie Jigra. The film will hit the theatres on October 11. Meanwhile, Sharvari was last seen in Vedha alongside John Abraham.
