Actress Pooja Batra unveils first official photos from her secret wedding with Nawab Shah

Actors Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah recently tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Delhi. The ceremony, which was attended only by their family members took place on July 4. 

On Tuesday, the 'Virasat' actress took to Instagram to share pictures from the intimate ceremony. 

In the first picture, the newlywed couple can be seen standing next to a huge window looking adorable in their colour coordinated outfits.

Pooja, who is dressed in a beautiful light blue lehenga is softly staring out of the window. Meanwhile, Nawab has eyes only for her. 

Thanking the well-wishers Pooja had captioned the post as, “Thank you for all your good wishes & Blessings.”

The former Miss India International also posted a photograph with her mother from the day of the wedding and wrote, "With My Wonder Woman My Mom". 

The couple, who had tied the knot in an Arya Samaj wedding in Delhi confirmed the news of in an interview with a news agency, “Yes, we are married. Nawab and I exchanged vows in Delhi, with only our families in attendance."

"Our loved ones kept asking us why we were delaying it (the marriage). I was simply going with the flow, but then I realised that he is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is no point in delaying it any further. So, here we are. We had an Arya Samaj wedding, and we will register our marriage this week”, she further added. 

Nawab too shared a picture of his wife on his Instagram account and wrote, "MA queen that can go from royal to gangster in 6 sec"

Pooja was previously married to an NRI doctor, Sonu S. Ahluwalia, from 2002 to 2011.
