This actress confirmed to play lead opposite Shahid Kapoor in Hindi remake of 'Arjun Reddy'

Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in Hindi remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’, a hit Telugu film that originally had Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey.

Taking over from Vijay, Shahid will be seen in the hit role alongside a new actress who will play his partner in the film. Announcing the name of the actress, Shahid took to Twitter and wrote: "Welcome to the madness @Advani_Kiara aka Preeti. Team Arjun Reddy is now officially complete. Let’s do this."

Before Kiara Advani of ‘Lust Stories’ fame came on board, it was earlier reported that Tara Sutaria will star opposite Shahid. Tara is reported to have backed out as her debut film Student of the Year 2 release date got postponed.

The Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy is set to release on June 21, 2019, while the original that was directed by Sandeep Vanga, released last year in 2017.

Meanwhile, Shahid will also be seen in ‘Woh Kaun Thi’ remake.
