Aaron Paul files a legal petition to officially change his last name

Aaron Paul and wife Lauren

'Breaking Bad' alum Aaron Paul is ditching his last name, i.e., Sturtevant.

Aaron, who welcomed his second child earlier this year, has filed a legal petition to change his family’s last name, along with the last name of his wife, Lauren Parsekian.

In his entire film career, the 43-year-old star has used his middle name, Paul, as his last name, and now he has decided to make it his surname.

His seven-month-old boy already had Paul as his surname, but in the legal papers, his parents have asked to change their baby's name to Ryden Caspian Paul from Casper Emerson Paul, as per the legal papers obtained by TMZ.

This legal change has been made to make the family name consistent. In April, Aaron announced that he had welcomed his second baby during his appearance on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show. He also showed the first photo of his baby boy.
"His name is Ryden, and I love him," Paul tells host Jimmy Fallon, before adding that he's "exhausted."

The couple is already parents to their 3-year-old daughter, Story Annabelle.

Aaron and Lauren got married in May 2013.
