Talking about the India-USA clash, the former won the toss and opted to bowl first on a tough batting pitch in New York. Riding on Arshdeep Singh's 4 for 9 and Hardik Pandya's 2 for 14, the Men in Blue restricted USA to 110/8. In reply, USA made it tough for India with Indian-born Saurabh Netravalkar striking early to remove openers Virat Kohli and captain Rohit. From 10/2, India were further reduced to 39 for 3 before an unbroken 72-run fourth-wicket stand between Suryakumar Yadav (50 not out) and Shivam Dube (31 not out) took their side home in 18.2 overs.
