Sanjay Bangar to be Team India's batting coach, Zaheer's role still undecided

Team India's new coach Ravi Shastri has decided to retain the services of Sanjay Bangar in the Indian cricket team. Bangar has been appointed the batting coach.

R. Sridhar will be Team India's fielding coach. Bharat Arun has been appointedIndia's bowling coach.

The BCCI said no decision has been taken on Zaheer Khan and former Indian batsmen Rahul Dravid's role in the Indian cricket team.

Former Indian opener Ravi Shastri was appointed the coach of the Indian cricket team last week after an advisory committee consisting of Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman decided to pick Shastri after other contenders Virender Sehwag, Tom Moody, Lalchand Rajput, Richard Pybusand Phil Simmons were rejected.
