India vs England: Twitter cheers for the Women in Blue

Twitter had a field day after the Indian Women team's splendid bowling performance in the Women's World Cup final at Lord's on Sunday.

Congratulatory messages poured in for India's pace bowler Jhulan Goswami on Twitter, soon after her three-wicket haul against hosts England

England made 228 for seven against India after winning the toss.

The 34-year-old dismissals included batsman Sarah Taylor (45) and top-scorer Nat Sciver (51).

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier called Jhulan "India's pride, whose wonderful bowling helps the team in key situations".

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar cheered Jhulan and her teammates through their bowling spell.
