Harmanpreet Kaur-led India face Bangladesh in the first semifinal of the 2024 Women's Asia Cup on Friday (July 26), in Dambulla. Unbeaten India are just two wins shy from winning the tournament and clinching their eighth Asia Cup title. While they will start as favourites versus the Bangla Tigers, Harman & Co. won't take their opposition lightly by any means.

Talking about the Indian women team's campaign in this edition, they started the tournament with a comprehensive win over arch-rivals Pakistan. The Women in Green had no chance as India won by seven wickets after dismissing their opponent for a paltry 108. From thereon, they went past UAE and Nepal with a 78 and 82-run wins, respectively.

On the other hand, Bangladesh had a poor start to their campaign with a loss to hosts Sri Lanka. Nonetheless, they came back strongly with a resounding seven-wicket win over Thailand and 114-run hammering of Malaysia to enter the semifinals.
