WhatsApp 'forwarded message' feature in the offing?

WhatsApp has now begun testing a new feature that will let a user know if the message sent has been a forwarded one. The move comes in a bid to stop mass-level spam circulation on the platform.

WhatsApp update tracker, WABetaInfo, was the first to sport the feature-in-progress. There is also a possibility that the company will roll-out a feature where users will be able to forward stickers to other chats. The features are currently under-development and disabled.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp has also rolled out a range of new features for iPhone users. WhatsApp's iPhone version 2.18.30 lets Instagram-like location and time stickers to be added to photos or videos.
