Users will be able to track the topic of their interest by following a hashtag. Two tabs will appear after the users search for a topic. One of the tab will include the list of people related to the topic, while the other will have related hashtags
In a move to simplify its platform the popular photosharing app, Instagram,has introduced two new features.
The new feature will provide users with a simplified search technique by following hashtags.
They can now follow hashtags in addition to other people's account.
Users will be able to track the topic of their interest by following a hashtag. Two tabs will appear after the users search for a topic. One of the tab will include the list of people related to the topic, while the other will have related hashtags.
The users can follow any hashtag page from the available list after which they will get to see top feeds and stories related to the hashtag.
Not showing every piece of information tagged with thehashtag, the app will use an algorithm to provide content to the user that he has engagedwith the most.
Besides this, ithas also introduced another feature which will show the photos liked by user's friend on thenewsfeed.
It will help in the easy discovery of new content in the news feed.
Also, the stories bar will feature the latest story related to the hashtag.
