On Wednesday, the industry chamber PHDCCI said that there are expecting the Indian economy to grow at 6% to 7% during the current financial year.
According to the new president of the chamber Saket Dalmia, the production has bounced back and the demand in the country is rising too. He added, "We are focusing on export of 75 products to 75 potential countries in 75 months which will help India achieve a trade target of USD 750 billion by 2027."
This comes a day after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) cut India’s economic growth forecast to 6.8% in 2022. Furthermore, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has also reduced the economic growth projection for FY23 to 7% from 7.2%.

A series of rate increases by the Reserve Bank of India this year to combat rising inflation will help boost banks' net interest margins, but the gain will be limited since funding costs will grow more quickly than loan rates, said Moody's Investors Service.
Despite the fact that India's economic development may decrease, Moody's said in a note that it had a better growth outlook than its competitors.
According to the ratings agency, losses on banks' holdings of government securities would also limit their profitability if yields increased.
Since its first unexpected mid-meeting rate increase in May, the RBI has increased rates by a total of 190 basis points, and additional increases are likely in the works, reports Reuters.
