Boeing's space legacy at risk as sale rumours emerge: Report

Boeing, a titan in the aerospace industry for over sixty years, is reportedly considering divesting parts of its space enterprise, stirring concern among industry experts according to a detailed report by The Guardian.

The company has played a pivotal role in major US space endeavours, from the construction of NASA's iconic Saturn V rockets that took humans to the moon to its involvement in the Space Shuttle program and ongoing contributions to the International Space Station (ISS) and the Space Launch System (SLS) the report detailed further.

However, a recent Wall Street Journal report highlighted the potential sale of significant portions of its space operations, a move linked to the disappointing performance of its Starliner spacecraft.

Boeing suffered a loss of $6 billion in September
