Uno Minda launches advanced D-90 horns for Indian aftermarket

Uno Minda, a leading Tier 1 supplier of automotive solutions in India, has introduced its new range of D-90 horns to the Indian aftermarket, addressing the growing demand for high-quality horn replacements. With the rise in car ownership over the past decade, traffic congestion and frequent horn usage have led to an increase in horn failures, creating a significant need for reliable aftermarket options.

The D-90 horns by Uno Minda are designed to meet the high standards of OEM quality, specifically tailored for Maruti Suzuki, Tata passenger vehicles, and light commercial vehicles. This new product line ensures that consumers can replace their vehicle's horns with parts that match the original manufacturer's specifications while maintaining all necessary safety standards.

The D-90 horns are engineered for robust performance, featuring a 90 mm diameter and sound output exceeding 105-110 decibels, compliant with Indian RTO regulations. They operate on a 12-volt power supply with a low current requirement of less than 2.5 amps, delivering powerful and pleasant sound quality. The horns are ultra-durable, tested for over 300,000 usage cycles, and are IS 1884:1993 certified for water resistance. Also, the D-90 horns incorporate Zinc nickel black plating for durability against rust, imported diaphragm while the contact parts are made from Tungsten.

Specially designed for Indian roads, the Uno Minda D-90 horns come with a two-year manufacturing warranty on it with all of it priced affordably between INR 295 to INR 855. These horns are available from various ‘A’ class online and offline retail shops; thus, offering consumers a solution of reliability and reasonable cost for replacement of their vehicle’s horn.
