Ultraviolette begins export of F77 MACH 2 electric motorcycle to European markets

Ultraviolette Automotive on Tuesday flagged-off the first batch of Made-in-India F77 MACH 2 high-performance electric motorcycles to the European Union (EU) markets. The flag-off ceremony was led by Union Minister of Heavy Industries, HD Kumaraswamy at the company's manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. This marks a significant milestone in Ultraviolette's global expansion plans and in its vision to 'Make in India, for the world'.

Further, Ultraviolette's entry into the European market aligns with the government's vision of making India a global EV manufacturing hub. "The expansion of Ultraviolette into the European market represents a defining moment for India’s automotive industry, demonstrating our nation’s ability to compete on the global stage. This is a prime example of how Indian startups are driving innovation in critical sectors like electric mobility," said Kumaraswamy.

State minister Shri MB Patil, who hails Ultraviolette as the Tesla of India, said that Bengaluru is at the forefront of the country's electric vehicle revolution. "Their success is a testament to our vibrant ecosystem for innovation and this export marks a new chapter in our state’s journey toward sustainable development and technological leadership," he said.

The F77 sports bike starts at INR 2.99 lakh and offers a range of 323 kilometres on a single charge. It comes equipped with a high-quality A1 category battery that meets UN 38.3 standards. "Our entry into Europe signals our commitment to delivering world-class electric vehicles designed in India for global markets. Europe is a key market for electric mobility, and we believe the F77 MACH 2 will redefine the perception of Indian electric vehicles in this region. This is just the beginning of a larger journey as we continue to push the boundaries of EV innovation," said Niraj Rajmohan, Co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette.
