Tata Motors has announced an order of 1,000 units of its Tata LPO 1618 Diesel Bus Chassis from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). The award was made following competitive e-bidding under the Government's tendering system and the order will be fulfilled in phases according to agreed mutually. This comes after an installation of a bigger grouping of 1,350 bus chassis delivered by UPSRTC that are functional and serving commuters efficiently. The Tata LPO 1618 is a dedicated intercity and long distance chassis designed for superior performance and passenger comfort with a low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Tata LPO 1618 is engineered for robust and reliable mobility with high uptime and minimum maintenance and operating costs. 'According to UPSRTC's directions, we look forward to commencing supplies.'
