Homegrown electric vehicle maker Oben Electric has introduced its new electric motorcycle, the Rorr EZ at a introductory price of INR 89,999 (ex-showroom). It is aimed at making electric mobility accessible to all people for a seamless and hassle free daily commute. The EV offers smooth and automatic riding experience without having to use traditional gears, it is perfect for those who want to ride on crowded roads efficiently. The motorcycle is available in three battery variants: 2.6KWh, 3.4KWh and 4.4KWh, providing a tailormade solution for a range of differing commuter requirements.
Oben Electric’s patented high performing LFP battery technology, renowned for its superior temperature resistance, longer lifecycle, and reliability are at the heart of the Rorr EZ. The EV provides 95 km/h top speed, 52 Nm of torque, acceleration from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.3 seconds to promise a dynamic and engaging ride. It also boasts a great range of 175 km on a single charge (IDC) that will well suit city commuting. Plus, it has fast charging as it can charge 80 percent in 45 minutes.
The Oben Electric Rorr EZ takes the neo classic design of Oben Electric and builds it on their proprietary ARX framework resulting in greater stability and manoeuvrability. There are three driving modes for each rider to choose from: Eco, City and Havoc for an energy efficient vs performance balance. Extra peace of mind is given by features like UBA, geo fencing, theft protection and DAS.

Available in four vibrant colours — Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green, and Photon White — the Rorr EZ is now open for bookings with an easy EMI plan starting at INR 2,200 per month. Oben Electric is also expanding rapidly, with plans to open 60 new showrooms across India, bringing electric motorcycles closer to riders nationwide.
