Iron Dames Return to Goodwood Festival of Speed

The all-female racing team, Iron Dames, is set to make its third consecutive appearance at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking place from July 11th to 14th, 2024. This year, the Iron Dames will showcase both innovation and tradition, tackling the iconic Goodwood Hill Climb with a powerful Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo 2 and making their rally debut on the Forest Rally Stage with a Ford Fiesta Rally2.

This follows their successful debut at Goodwood in 2022 and an impressive run up the challenging 1.86-kilometer hill in 2023. This year, however, they'll be pushing the limits behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo 2 – a car they've already achieved a pole position and podium finish in the 2024 Michelin Le Mans Cup. Experienced drivers Célia Martin and Karen Gaillard will be piloting the Huracán, fresh off their competitive run at the Circuit de la Sarthe.

The Iron Dames' presence extends beyond the Hill Climb. Rallying stars Sarah Rumeau and Julie Amblard, a force to be reckoned with in the French Rally Championship, will be making their Goodwood debut on the Forest Rally Stage with their Ford Fiesta Rally2.

The 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed's theme, "Horseless to Hybrid: Revolutions in Power," perfectly aligns with the Iron Dames' participation. Their chosen vehicles – the turbocharged Fiesta and the V10-powered Huracán – represent two significant advancements in automotive and motorsport history.
