Honda Cars India teases third-generation Amaze sedan ahead of launch

Honda Cars India has unveiled a teaser image of the upcoming third-generation Amaze sedan which is targeted at young buyers and modern families. The all-new Amaze is expected to offer a bold design along with cutting-edge technology to meet the lifestyle and aspirations of today’s dynamic generation. The teaser image reveals the front silhouette of the new Amaze, showing its sleek LED headlights and the Honda logo in the centre. It also gets LED daytime running lights at the top of the headlamp that seamlessly merges into the grille, which has a hexagonal shape and a honeycomb pattern

Honda first introduced the Amaze in India in 2013 and the second generation model was introduced in 2018. The latest iteration will mark an update after six years. The model has been popular among entry level sedan buyers thanks to its beauty, comfort, performance, safety features, and pack value; which makes it an ideal option for those starting new journeys.

Takuya Tsumura, President & CEO of Honda Cars India Ltd, commented on the teaser release, stating, “The Honda Amaze has always held a special place for us and our customers in India. As a pioneer in premium styling for entry sedans, the Amaze has set the standard for design and sophistication in its segment. With the third generation, we are excited to elevate this to the next level, providing our modern Indian customers with an enhanced premium package like never before.”

The upcoming Honda Amaze will lock horns with the new upcoming Maruti Dzire that is slated for a November 11 launch. Apart from the Dzire, the model will compete against Hyundai Aura. It will also be pitted against various similarly priced compact SUVs and sub-compact models such as the Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter, among others.
