Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has officially opened bookings for its much-awaited fourth generation Dzire sedan. The updated vehicle will get fresh and modern design with some first-in-class features. It can be pre-booked at any Maruti Suzuki Arena showroom or through the company's official website with an initial booking amount of INR 11,000. The vehicle is slated to be launched on November 11 in its latest iteration.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to deliver a blend of style, comfort and advanced technology, and is targeted to appeal to existing and new customers alike. Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer of Marketing & Sales at Maruti Suzuki, highlighted the significance of the Dzire's journey since its launch in 2008. “The Dzire has become India's favorite sedan, earning the trust of over 2.7 million customers," he said. "With the All-New Dzire, we’ve designed a vehicle that not only leads its segment but also exceeds traditional expectations. Its modern aesthetic, enhanced comfort, and advanced technology embody what customers love about the Dzire while aligning with their aspirations for a contemporary sedan. The combination of innovative powertrain options and thoughtfully selected features is set to provide an exceptional driving experience.”

The upcoming fourth generation Dzire is expected to receive the Swift's Z-series engine, a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder unit delivering 81 hp and 112 Nm of peak torque. It will be paired with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT transmission options. At a later stage, the Dzire could also be offered with a CNG option, like the Swift. 

The 2024 Maruti Dzire is expected to boast heavily reworked exterior and interior with the grille being more pronounced than before. On the inside, it is expected to get a free-standing, nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sunroof and a 360-degree camera as well as leather upholstery on the top-spec version.
