Sensex opens below 34,000, then climbs back over in volatile early trade

The Sensex opened Monday morning at 33,944.73 but climbed back over the 34,000 mark in volatile early-morning trade.

The Sensex was at 34,134.28, down 58.37 points or 0.17% in early trade.

The Nifty meanwhile was at 10,469.10, down 11.50 points or 0.11%.

Analysts said the ups and downs in trade were caused by geopolitical tensions over Syria and trade war concerns.
