Fuel prices on Monday witnessed a new high with petrol and diesel breaching earlier figures.

Petrol and diesel prices across India continued to rise on Tuesday with petrol selling at Rs 82.16 per litre and diesel at Rs 73.87 per litre in Delhi, news agency ANI reported.

Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital went up by Rs 0.10/litre and Rs 0.9/litre respectively.

According to reports, petrol prices in Mumbai were registered at Rs 89.54 per litre, an increase of Rs 0.10/litre, while diesel prices shot up by Rs 0.9 per litre at Rs 78.42 for a litre.

Fuel prices on Monday witnessed a new high with petrol and diesel breaching earlier figures.

In Delhi, petrol was being sold 0.15 paise higher at Rs 82.06 per litre, while the price of diesel went up by 0.6 paise to Rs 73.78 per litre.

Mumbai continued to be the worst affected by rising fuel prices, with petrol retailing at a staggering Rs Rs 89.44 per litre and diesel at Rs 78.33 per litre on Monday.
