
Fuel prices across India rose again on Sunday with petrol selling at Rs 81.91 per litre and diesel at Rs 73.72 per litre in Delhi, news agency ANI reported.
Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital went up by Rs 0.28/litre and Rs 0.18/litre respectively.
According to reports, petrol prices in Mumbai were registered at Rs 89.29 per litre, an increase of Rs 0.28/litre, while diesel prices shot up by Rs 0.19 per litre at Rs 78.26 for a litre.
Fuel prices on Saturday witnessed a new high with petrol and diesel breaching earlier figures.
In Delhi, petrol was being sold 35 paise higher at Rs 81.63 per litre, while the price of diesel went up by 24 paise to Rs 73.54 per litre.
Mumbai continued to be the worst affected by rising fuel prices, with petrol retailing at a staggering Rs 89.01 per litre and diesel at Rs 78.07 per litre on Saturday.
