World's Deepest Hotel with Beds 1,375 Feet Underground

1. The Deep Sleep Hotel

Situated beneath the mountains of Snowdonia in Wales, the hotel offers a unique experience where guests can enjoy restful sleep a staggering 1,375 vertical feet below the surface.

2. Comfortable cabins

The hotel features four private twin-bed cabins and a charming grotto with a double bed, ideal for a romantic getaway.

3. Hotel prices

A single-night stay for two in a private cabin costs $435, while the price for two individuals in the enchanting grotto is $683. Reservations are available for Saturday night through Sunday morning.

4. How to reach your room?

Reaching your room is far from a leisurely experience. Upon arriving at the Tanygrisiau Base near Blaenau Ffestiniog, guests will be greeted by their designated trip leader at 5 pm.

5. 45-minute trek

You will embark on a 45-minute trek up into the mountains. Then, you'll receive essential gear such as a helmet, light, harness, and boots before venturing into the vast depths of the world's largest and deepest abandoned slate mine.

6. Challenging descent

After a challenging descent lasting approximately 60 minutes, you'll finally arrive at a set of imposing steel doors, marking your entrance into Deep Sleep, the extraordinary underground hotel.

7. Operations started in April

Company Go Below inaugurated hotel operations in April, providing access to their accommodations through an abandoned Victorian slate mine.
