Georgia to drop the "foreign agents" bill

The Georgian Dream ruling party said it will "unconditionally withdraw the bill".

The decision comes after two nights of  protests & demonstrations

The opposition has said that protests will continue till all those detained are released

European Union's delegation to Georgia praised the decision

Bill required Georgian orgs that received over 20% of their funding from abroad to register as "foreign agents"

At least 77 people were arrested as protesters hurled petrol bombs at the parliament
