The New York City of the United States was ranked the world's best city among the list of 50 world's best cities by Time Out.
As per Time Out, New York tops the list for its quality of life for locals and for its global appeal for visitors.
The Indian city of Mumbai, stituated in the Maharashtra state was ranked 12th on the list. It was also the only Indian city to make a place in the list.
"Mumbai is India in a nutshell", wrote Time Out. From history to modernity, spirituality to sports, a colonial past to a dynamic present, the city offers everthing.
These are the top five cities in the world, according to the list- New York City, Cape Town, Berlin, London, and Madrid.
