Several international airlines temporarily halted hundreds of flights to and from Tel Aviv after militant group Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel, on Saturday (Oct 7). Here is the list from Africa and Americas:
Royal Air Maroc cancelled flights to and from Tel Aviv on Saturday and Sunday.
On Tuesday, American Airlines released a statement saying that it has temporarily suspended all flights to and from Tel Aviv through Dec 4.
United Airlines suspended direct flights to Tel Aviv "until conditions allow them to resume".
Delta Airlines said it would suspend flights to and from Tel Aviv through Oct 31.
Air Canada suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv, saying it would resume the route "as soon as the situation stabilises".
