Several artists have publicly objected to or legally barred Donald Trump from using their music during his campaigns. Some of these artists and bands include:

Adele

Her songs including "Rolling in the Deep" were used at Trump rallies without permission. "Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning," said a representative, as per reports.

The Rolling Stones

The band has repeatedly asked Trump to stop using their songs, particularly "You Can't Always Get What You Want." They even threatened "further steps" if he continued to do so.

ABBA

The legendary group ABBA recently announced that it has "recently discovered the unauthorised use of their music and videos at a Trump event through videos that appeared online," and has asked for prompt "removal and deletion of such content."

Celine Dion

The Trump campaign used Celine Dion's iconic song "My Heart Will Go On" at a rally in Montana. On Instagram, the singer posted an official statement unauthorising the use along with a jab "In no way is this use authorised, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use…and really, THAT song".

Foo Fighters

Trump used the Foo Fighters song, "My Hero" at a recent Arizona campaign on August 23. Clapping back, the rock band announced that royalty earnings from the song will be donated to Kamala Harris' campaign.
