All Eyes on November 5 US Election

The presidential election in the United States (US) will be held on November 5. The race between Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump remains tight, with Harris currently holding a slight lead.

Elon Musk Endorses Trump for Election

Billionaire Elon Musk has endorsed Donald Trump and made his first appearance during a Trump rally during the weekend. Musk called Trump the only candidate “to preserve democracy in America.”

Musk's Massive Support for Trump

Musk created a super political action committee supporting the Republican nominee and it has been spending heavily on get-out-the-vote efforts. Trump has said he would tap Musk to lead a government efficiency commission if he wins.

Musk has had varying political preferences. In 2014, Musk described himself as "half Democrat, half Republican." The billionaire said he supported Barack Obama in 2008, Hillary Clinton in 2016, Joe Biden in 2020, and now Trump.
