The Indian Institute of Bombay ranked third on the list with an overall score of 73.7.
Another IIT was placed in the top five of the best universities in India. IIT Madras ranked 174 globally in terms of providing employability.
The renowned Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai ranked fifth on the list with an overall score of 73.5.
IIT Delhi also made it to the lost at sixth rank and also ranked 124 globally in terms of providing employment.
The esteemed central university in Delhi ranked seventh on the list with an overall score of 73.1.
One of the oldest IITs, IIT Kharagpur is the eighth-best university in India. It has an overall score of 72.3.
Panjab University is the only state university in India that made it to the list of the top 10 best Indian universities with an overall score of 72.
Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur ranked in 10th position in the list with an overall score of 71.5.
