Cuddle bugs

It's a common misconception that cats are not affectionate, but talk to a cat owner, and they'll tell you that these felines actually love to cuddle and give you headbutts out of love.

No fuss, no muss

Anyone who has a dog as a pet knows they need constant attention. Cats on the other hand are very self-sufficient and only need you to feed them on time.

Less 'accidents'

Walking dogs is a must and if you miss walk-time, there can be accidents. Cats once used to their litter boxes will never poop or pee outside.

They're natural healers

The frequency of cat purring has been shown to fall between 25 and 140 Hz, which has been shown to aid in the healing of broken bones, joint and tendon repair, and wound healing.

Great for your health

Studies have proven that they're great for your cardiovascular health, and can help lower stress and anxiety. An added bonus is, children exposed to cats from a young age generally have a stronger immune system, hence less allergies.

Silence is golden

Cats are quiet creatures, they mostly only meow when they’re hungry. Being woken from a nap because they need attention or need to go out to pee is something you won't have to worry about.

They keep your house pest-free

Everyone knows cats are fantastic at hunting rodents like rats. What you might not know is that they're also natural insect killers.
