The traditional Indian flatbread ranked 7th on the list. It is best tasted with Indian curries like butter chicken, dal makhani, malai kofta and shahi paneer.
Murgh Makhani, popularly known as butter chicken, internationally ranked 43rd on the list. The dish originated in Delhi during the 1950s when a man named Kundan Gujral opened his restaurant, Moti Mahal.
Indian Tikka, made of boneless meat, ranked 47th on the list. It is usually made of chicken that is cut into smaller pieces and marinated in yoghurt and traditional Indian spices.
India's favourite tandoori meat ranked 48th on the list. Tandoori dishes are typically either intensely red or yellow coloured, depending on the marinade ingredients.
