7 Ways to Lighten Dark Lips

Cause: Lip hyperpigmentation may result from prolonged sun exposure, inadequate hydration, smoking, allergic reactions to lipstick, excessive caffeine consumption, and lip sucking. Here are some effective ways to lighten dark lips.

1. Lemon Sugar Treatment

 Before bedtime, slice a lemon wedge and dip it in sugar. Gently rub your lips with the sugared lemon. Rinse your lips with lukewarm water the next morning.

2. Turmeric Paste

  According to a 2010 study, turmeric may act as a melanin inhibitor. Mix 1 tablespoon of milk with enough turmeric powder to form a paste. Rub the paste on your lips with a wet fingertip and rinse after 5 minutes with cold water.

3. Aloe Vera Application
