Use scare tactics against pigeons which include hanging shiny objects like aluminium foil strips or CDs or setting up fake owls or motion-activated noisemakers.
It is important to keep the terrace clean and clutter-free and get rid of nesting materials as well as pigeon droppings and feathers.
If pigeons are congregating or roosting, one can use natural or artificial repellents against them, such as peppermint oil, chilli spray, citrus fragrances and more.
Pigeons flock to water for drinking and bathing and hence, it is advisable to remove any water sources such as stagnant water, puddles or bird baths.
