USA is the most startup-friendly country in the world with 666 unicorns, which is 49 per cent of world's total.
China is the second most startup-friendly country with a total of 316 unicorns. This number has increased by 50 per cent since pre-covid days.
India is the third most startup-friendly country in the world and retains its position with 68 unicorns. The country has added 47 new unicorns since Covid.
The UK is fourth on this list with, which was replaced by India back in 2021. The country now has a total of 49 unicorns.
Germany is the fifth most startup-friendly country in the world, with a total of 36 unicorns. The country added 10 unicorns in 2022, and 29 after Covid.
The 29th largest eonomy in the world in terms of nominal GDP ranks sixth in this list with a tally of 24 unicorns. 7 were added in 2022 and 17 after Covid.
France tied this position with Israel with 24 unicorns, out of which 5 were added last year and a whopping 20 unicorns after Covid.
