A person is defined as overweight if they have a body-mass index (BMI) equal to or greater than 25. BMI is a person's weight divided by his height in metres squared.

United Kingdom 

The United Kingdom has the most obese population in Europe. According to the report, 63.7 per cent population of the UK is overweight.

Greece

Greece is the second most obese country in Europe, with 62.3 per cent of its population being overweight.

Czech Republic 

This landlocked country in Central Europe is the third most obese country in the continent.  At least 62.3 per cent of the population is overweight

Bulgaria 

Bulgaria is the country with the fourth-largest obese population in Europe. It has more than 60 per cent of the population struggling with obesity.

Hungary

Hungary is the fifth-most obese country in Europe with 61.6 per cent of its population being overweight.

Spain 

Spain is sixth on this list and has a population of 61.6 per cent who struggle with obesity.
